| Oscar Blanquet-Wilberth Uicab Set For WBC Convention

By Miguel Rivera A very anticipated flyweight battle has been finalized for the 50th Annual Convention of the World Boxing Council, scheduled for next month in Cancun, Quintana Roo. Blanquet, is represented by Canelo Promotions and Uicab is promoted by Cancun Boxing. Promoter Edison Reynoso closed the deal with Cancun Boxing. Blanquet (32-4-1, 23 KOs) vs. Uicab (35-7-1, 18 KOs) will generate a challenger to the WBC crown. The WBC's annual convention will be held from the 2nd to 8th of December in Cancun. good matchup..Blanquet's 4-5 " ht advantage & power mayb the difference...curious what othr bouts will be on this program as they usually are on tv out of Cancun... |
