| Orlando Salido Withdraws From Mikey Garcia Defense

By Miguel Rivera Reports are surfacing in Mexico that WBO featherweight champion Orlando Salido (39-11-2, 27 KOs) has withdrawn from planned defense with undefeated Mikey Garcia (29-0, 25KOs). The fight was scheduled for November 10th at The Wynn in Las Vegas. Salido reportedly suffered some form of hand injury, possibly from a door slamming on his hand but that has not been confirmed. HBO was going to televise the fight. UPDATE: According to a member of Salido's camp, the boxer suffered a broken index finger and will be out four to six weeks.
