Orlando Salido vs. Orlando Cruz in Line For WBO Title

By Miguel Rivera

The World Boxing Organization has ruled that Orlando Salido (39-12-2, 27KOs) and Orlando Cruz (20-2-1, 10KOs) will battle for the vacant featherweight title - if Mikey Garcia defeats Juan Manuel Lopez on Saturday night in Dallas, Texas. On Friday, Garcia lost his title on the scale after coming in two-pounds over at 128. Juanma made weight at 125.5-pounds. Salido, who won the title from Juanma in 2011, lost an eight round technical decision to Garcia in January.

WBO trying to get in on the first openly gay champion? Or maybe a Salido fight with Donaire?
