A fight that has been discussed for a few weeks was made official on Thursday and it figures to be one of the most action packed on the remaining boxing scheduled for 2016.

"(Orlando) Salido-(Takashi) Miura is done,''announced Stefan Freidman, spokesperson for Golden Boy Promotions told BoxingScene.com on Thursday evening.

Golden Boy is hoping to shape the card into a televised tripleheader and are currently working on two additional fights to add.

"It will be for the WBC interim championship at 130 as Francisco Vargas will be out for awhile with cuts. We're hoping for a triple-header with HBO. We're trying to figure all that out," Freidman said.

Vargas and Salido battled to a memorable draw on June 4th at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. Vargas sustained multiple cuts in the contest. This is Golden Boy Promotions first card at the Forum - and ironically the founder of the company, Oscar De La Hoya, made his professional debut at this building against Lamar Williams in 1992.
