Obregón, Son. - WBO featherweight champion Orlando "Siri" Salido (36-11-2, 24 KO’s) will climb into the ring at Palenque de Ciudad in Obregon for a hero's return. The first fight for Salido in Obregon since defeating Juan Manuel Lopez is April. His opponent, Filipino boxer Weng Haya (15-4-0, 9 KO's) is a fighter with good speed and mobility, brave and technically sound. He even spars with Manny Pacquiao when the pound-for-pound king trains in the Philippines. The fight is a non-title bout scheduled for ten rounds.

"I am very motivated to return to fight before my people of Ciudad Obregon. I'm going to face a Filipino opponent and like all fights in the ring between Mexicans and Filipinos - it should be a war. Also, its still very fresh in the minds of the Mexican fans what happened in the fight between Pacquiao and Marquez. So now the victory will stay in Mexico without any doubt," said Salido.
