According to promoter Peter Rivera of Puerto Rico Best Boxing, he already put the wheels in motion for a fight between champion Roman "Rocky" Martinez and WBO super featherweight champion Orlando "Siri" Salido.

Rivera reveals that he made an initial offer to Salido's manager, Sean Gibbons, for a fight in late March in Puerto Rico.

Salido (42-12-2, 29KOs), considered an executioner of Puerto Rican fighters, captured the vacant title in September with a Fight of The Year TKO win over Terdsak Kokietgym. Martinez (28-2-2, 17KOs), a former two-time champion in that division, ended his inactivity with a ring return on Saturday with a knockout in the second round over Herber Quartey.

"We are able to make that fight with Salido at the end of March. We want it to be in Puerto Rico. Our offer is to make it here. We like the Coliseum De Puerto Rico and we'll have other fights in this event," said Rivera to ESPN Deportes.
