BoxingScene.com recently spoke to highly touted prospect Orlando Del Valle (15-0, 11KOs) who is scheduled to return to the ring on April 27th against Christopher Martin (23-1-3, 6KOs) in a fight televised by Showtime as part of their ShoBox series.  Martin will represent the 25 year-old's toughest test to date which is exactly what Del Valle said he has been calling for.

"I am very, very exited for this fight and I can't wait for April 27th. This is the type of fight I was waiting for and this is what the fans deserve," stated the Bayamon, Puerto Rico native.

Del Valle, who is part of Team Puerto Rico and is promoted by DiBella Entertainment and Gary Shaw, promised the fans that he will leave the ring with a victory.

"I want everyone to mark their calendars and don't miss the fight because I'm bringing nothing but fireworks and most definitely my hand will be raised at the end of the night."

Del Valle versus Martin is one of three fights that will be part of the ShoBox telecast.  Thomas Oosthuizen and Jose Pedraza will also appear in separate bouts against opponents to be determined.
