Orlando Del Valle Ink New Agreement With Rivera

Boxing manager Ray Rivera, from Newburgh, NY, re-signed prospect Luis Orlando del Valle (16-1, 11KO's) from Puerto Rico to a new management agreement.  Rivera has managed Del Valle since the beginning of his career.

"I am very happy to continue my working relationship with Orlandito.  We have been together for years, and we have accomplished a lot.  I look forward to continue maximizing his fights and opportunities", stated Rivera.

Del Valle achieved a top prospect status in the sport in the bantamweight and featherweight divisions, until suffering a setback last September when he suffered a decision loss to Vic Darchynian.  Del Valle, however, was close to dropping Darchynian in the 9th round during his valiant effort.

"We are not looking back.  We have learned from the process.  I have full confidence in the talent of my fighter and he will be world champion", Rivera concluded.

Del Valle is promoted by DiBella Entertainment and his advisor is attorney Gaby Penagaricano.

Orlandito can still be champ some day I just don't under stand why they put him in the ring with somebody like Darchinian so early in his career.
