IBO World Super Middleweight champion Tommy Oosthuizen moves up to Light Heavyweight.

After seven IBO World title super middleweight defenses, due to his difficulty in continuing to make the weight, Tommy notified the IBO that he has moved up to the light heavyweight division.

At the still very young age of 26 we are sure that he will again be a world champion at this higher weight and wish him the very best.

The vacant IBO World Super Middleweight title will now be sanctioned for the two leading available contenders. Tags: Thomas Oosthuizen

Not surprised that he's outgrown 168, but Tommy Gun's just gonna be Cannon Fodder at 175. He looked promising beating up no names when he was younger, but has just looked slow and vulnerable against stiffer opposition. I'm not predicting that he gets his hands on a LHW title....ever.
