Oleg Maskaev To Return on December 30th in Moscow

The former world heavyweight champion of the WBC, 43-year-old Oleg Maskaev (36-7, 27KOs), will return to the ring on December 30th in Moscow. The event will be called "Return of the Champions." The opponent will be named at a later date. Maskaev has not fought since suffering a first round TKO defeat to Nagy Aguilera in December 2009.

Maskaev should stay retired, but I think as an amateur he did something remarkable by KOing Vitali.. correct me if I΄m wrong. That΄s more of an achievement than holding the WBA regular belt these days!

He should stay retired, the last I saw of him he was shot and he's just gotten older since then. He's been brutally KOed too many times. Poor old man must need money. :sad:
