| Oleg Maskaev To Return on December 30th in Moscow

By Ruslan Chikov The former world heavyweight champion of the WBC, 43-year-old Oleg Maskaev (36-7, 27KOs), will return to the ring on December 30th in Moscow. The event will be called "Return of the Champions." The opponent will be named at a later date. Maskaev has not fought since suffering a first round TKO defeat to Nagy Aguilera in December 2009. |

Maskaev should stay retired, but I think as an amateur he did something remarkable by KOing Vitali.. correct me if I´m wrong. That´s more of an achievement than holding the WBA regular belt these days! |
