Odlanier Solis-Leif Larsen on March 22nd in Berlin
By Per Ake Persson
US-based Cuban heavyweight Odlanier Solis, 18-1, will return to Germany where he started his pro career and fight unbeaten Norwegian Leif Dolonen Larsen, 17-0, in a defense of the IBF I/C title on March 22 in Berlin.
This fight was first on for Madrid of October 12 last year but then Solis pulled out and Larsen stopped Jason Gavern instead.
On paper this look like a solid matchup but in the reality there should be a huge gap in class between these two as Larsen, a former NFL player, began boxing late and has never been near the likes of Solis.
In other action on this Arena and Ludus Pugilatos promotion at the Universal Hall, junior middleweight Gogi Knesevic take on Giuseppe Loriga for the IBF I/C title. Super middleweight Uensal Arik will also fight for the IBF I/C crown but against who isn´t clear yet. Turkish welterweight Selcuk Aydin face Hungarian-based Italian veteran Giuseppe Lauri and Ivana Habazin clashes with Eva Halasi for the IBF world title.
I might go with Larsen in this one. Solis is too lazy and inactive... Idk. Posted from Boxingscene.com App for AndroidComment by BostonGuy on 03-04-2013

I dont know what kind of chin Larsen has. If he has a solid chin he might be outclassed over the distance, if he has a weak Chin Solis stops him. Solis is not featherfisted but hes not really a…Post a Comment - View More User Comments (12)
