NSAC Gives Adrien Broner Warning For Racial Comments

By Mike Coppinger

Adrien Broner easily defeated Carlos Molina on May 3, and then made comments that got him in hot water, even in the Wild West-esque world that is boxing.

Broner said during his post-fight interview with Jim Gray: "I just beat the f--- out of a Mexican."

On Tuesday, Broner stood before the Nevada State Athletic Commission to answer for the controversial remarks.

Broner got away with a warning, per Steve Carp of the Las Vegas Review Journal, and won't face a fine or suspension.

"It's all about growing up," Broner said. "I can still get my message out and be entertaining without having to say those other things."

"I'll be smarter in the future and choose my words more carefully."

We'll see if Broner has finally learned his lesson and tones down his act outside the ring.

I hate that little shit with a passion but this is unfair compared to the guys that take steroids and get a slap.

It was offensive.. no race or culture wants to be limited and defined by the stereotypes that dominate society. Molina no doubt has many other qualities without being categorized so myopically in an offensive way. Oddly, it doesn't matter as…

Adrian Boner, can't wait for him to get his ass handed to him again. I enjoy his little bewildered look when a real boxer shows up. Of coarse they might never let that happen again, the little big mouthed twit.
