Novoa is Pumped For His WBC Title Clash With Zhong

Mexican Oswaldo “Gallito” Novoa is ready to challenge current WBC strawweight champion Xiong Zhao Zhong. Novoa (12-4-7 KOs) fights Zhong (22-4-112 KOs) for the world title on February 5th in Haikou China.

Novoa summed it up by saying - “It’s tough to fight abroad. I''ll try my best to avoid the decision and have no problems in becoming world champion.”

Novoa and Zhong have a rival in common: Javier “Demonio” Martinez, who lost the vacant title to Zhong by way of a twelve round decision and he was also defeated by Novoa with a fourth round stoppage.

Novoa is a 31 year old Mexican fighter. This is his first championship fight. He has never been stopped and all four of his decision losses have been very close on the cards.
