Ludwigsburg, Germany - WBC female super middleweight champion Nikki Adler (14-0) closed the show with a unanimous ten round decision over Szilvia Szabados ((6-3). Szabados was tough but unschooled and was outboxed by Adler and the fact that someone as limited as Szabados can challenge for a major world title underlines how thin the ranks are in female boxing.
Still, Szabados fought her heart out and lasted the distance cut and bloodied. It was scored 98-90 and 99-89 twice. Both ladies had points deducted.
