Nicholas Walters (26-0-1, 21KOs) is hoping to score another knockout victory on November 26th, when he challenges Vasyl Lomachenko (6-1, 4KOs) for the WBO super featherweight title.

The two sides had previously discussed the idea of a fight when both were champions at featherweight, but they were unable to reach a deal on the financial terms.

Walters has been out of the ring since last December's controversial twelve round draw with Jason Sosa, who is now the WBA 'regular' champion after knocking out Javier Fortuna in China. Walters held the WBA title at 126-pounds, but lost it on the scale after failing to make weight for last year's fight with Miguel Marriaga.

Lomachenko held the WBO title at 126-pounds and moved up to super featherweight earlier this year. The two-time Olympic gold medal winner became a two-division world champion after knocking out Roman Martinez to capture the WBO title at super featherweight.

When they step into the ring in less than two months, Walters will be looking to chin check Lomachenko with his trademark power punches. He waned that Lomachenko could end up just like Nonito Donaire, who Walters knocked out in five rounds.

"Any fighter can be knocked out no matter who he is," said Walters.

"I like fighting the best and I like fighting against great technical fighter like Lomachenko.  Look at what happened when I fought a great technical fighter like Nonito Donaire.  Lomachenko is great, he knows what he is doing in the ring.  But I always look for a knockout against whomever I fight.  If I can do it quick, I will.  This is the best fight out there in boxing today. It will be the Fight of the Year."
