Narvaez Promoter: Donaire Deal Close, But Not Done

By Jhonny Gonzalez

According to promoter Osvaldo Rivero, a representative for undefeated WBO super flyweight champion Omar Narvaez, a finalized deal has yet to be reached for a jump in weight to challenge WBC/WBC bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire. Rivero says a deal is close but there are a few minor issues in the contract that need fine tuning and they are still waiting for cable network to approve the fight. If everything comes together, the fight will happen on October 22 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California.

"There are discussions to reach an agreement with Top Rank's Bob Arum. However, we can not say that the fight is confirmed. A lot of details are still missing. And everything is subject to the acceptance of the television network HBO, which has the TV rights for the United States and other countries. I do not want to speculate on anything and I just hope I get a notice from Bob Arum to announce the fight," said Rivero.

Just don't let Nonito's ***** get in the way of negotiations, that ho has caused more trouble than good for him. Send her ass back to Philippines where she won't get in the way.
