Earlier today at a hotel in Tokyo, there was a medical examination held for the two world championships that will take place on Saturday, December 30 at Bunka Kaikan in the city of Yokohama in Kanagawa, a province adjacent to Tokyo.

In the main event, sensational World Boxing Organization (WBO) super flyweight world champion Naoya "Monster" Inoue (14-0, 12KOs, 24 years old and Ohashi Boxing Gym of Yokohama) is going to face #7 ranked French challenger WBO Yoan Boyeaux (41-4, 26KOs, 29 years old and from the town of Beaune in France) for the seventh defense of his title.

Inoue and the French challenger were measured and there is a height difference of 6 centimeters and in the reach department a disparity of 7 centimeters - but despite this Inoue is not focused on his physical disadvantages.

According to what Inoue and his camp have firmly told reporters present, the boxer is going to look for a world title opportunity in the bantamweight division in 2018, leaving the super flyweight ranks behind.

During the examination, Inoue cames face to face for the first time with his slender challenger Boyeaux and says the French challenger will be a good test before moving up in weight.

Inoue's most recent fight took place in the United States at the StubHub Center, Carson, California, where he was able to show off his knockout power by scoring an impressive victory at the end of the sixth round over Antonio Nieves in an HBO televised contest.

Inoue was proclaimed the WBO super flyweight champion after an amazing second round knockout over Argentine great Omar "Huracan" Narváez in December 2014 in Tokyo.

Boyeaux, who appeared at the medical examination room with his wife Banessa, said:

"From what I see for the first time of Naoya Inoue with my own eyes, the presence of Naoya Inoue does not intimidate me at all. I did not feel the strong aura of Inoue, who presents himself with a clear expression."
