Dangerous super bantamweight contender Rey "King" Vargas (24-0, 20KOs) is looking for a world title.
The 24-year-old puncher came back to action last night in Metepec, Mexico and won a one-sided ten round uannimous decision over Edward Mansito (13-2), who refused to bend despite the punishment in every round.
Vargas is led by Hall of Fame trainer Nacho Beristain, who views the young boxer as the next superstar in Mexico boxing.
Nacho is picking his student to capture a world title in super bantanweight and then move up in weight to capture titles at featherweight and super featherweight, and maybe even lightweight.
Vargas is calling for the big names in his weight division, including Carl Frampton, Nonito Donaire and Scott Quigg.
"King is a very serious boy, who enjoys what he does and who gives 100 percent; that's the key to his success; I am sure that he will continue forward and go very far in his career. He will capture three or four world titles in different divisions and he will become an important figure in Mexican boxing," Nacho said.
