Hall of Fame trainer Nacho Beristain is likes the sound of Juan Manuel Marquez challenging WBA/IBF junior welterweight champion Lamont Peterson. In the opinion of Nacho, Peterson has a good fighting style for Marquez. Nacho likes how Peterson comes forward to in his fights, which is going to suit the counter-punching style of his boxer. There is talk of Marquez possibly facing Peterson at Cowboys Stadium in Texas, but Nacho would like to see his boxer follow through with a tentative fight on March 17th in a newly constructed arena in Mexico.

"I hope to follow up about the fight involving Juan at the new Arena Mexico because it's something he deserves and something that he owes to his fans in Mexico City. But, I also like the fight with Peterson, and it would be a good opportunity to go for a fourth championship, but ultimately it is his decision," said Beristain.

Rest is a crucial factor, but Nacho is interesting in having Juan fight three times in 2012 - including a fight in Mexico City, then with Peterson at the Cowboys Stadium and finally a fourth fight with Manny Pacquiao at the end of the year.

"A fighter like Juan Manuel must be active to maintain the conditions that have led him to where he is today," Nacho said.
