Munequita Perez Eyes Full WBC Title After Silver Grab
New WBC super bantamweight silver Champion, 27-year-old, undefeated Argentinian, Sabrina The "Muñequita" Perez, received her new silver championship belt that she earned on May 31st by defeating her compatriot, Cristina Pacheco, in a bout held in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Presented by the President of the South American Boxing Federation of the WBC and member of the Boxing Federation in Argentina, Carlos Rodriguez, Sabrina (11-0-1, 2 KOs) received the belt that confirms her as a champion, as part of a ceremony at the FAB offices.
"Firstly I want to thank Carlos Rodriguez, Mauricio Sulaiman and to all of the WBC for this recognition. Of course I also want to thank to my promoter, my coach and my team. Now it is time to take another step, I want to fight for the absolute WBC title," commented the boxer born in Isidro Casanova, Buenos Aires.
