"Sugar" Shane Mosley is confident that he would do a number on Juan Manuel Marquez, if the two boxers ever met in the ring. Mosley is scheduled to face Manny Pacquiao on May 7 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, but there has been a movement of people who are against the fight. Those people would have prefered to see Pacquiao take part in a third fight with Marquez. Both Mosley and Marquez were in the running to be Pacquiao's next opponent.

"I would just ask them one question," Mosley said to BoxingScene.com's Robert Morales. "If me and Juan Manuel Marquez fought, who do they think would win? That is the question I have. He (Marquez) got dropped by (Michael) Katsidis (in the third round) and Katsidis is not the biggest puncher in the world. Marquez got dropped by a lightweight."

Mosley, 39-years-old, is the big underdog in the fight. He believes that he can upset the odds with his power and speed.

"I say my punching power is always going to give me a chance," Mosley said. "The last time I checked, I have pretty good speed. I'm not quite as slow as Margarito and I think I hit a little bit harder than Margarito. I think that makes it more of a scary fight for Pacquiao because I can hit and I do have speed. If Margarito can hit Pacquiao, I can hit Pacquiao."

shane would beat JMM, but JMM is more deserving. while berto would probably be the most competitive with pac. BUT, shane will sell more tickets then JMM or berto.
