A training camp insider advised BoxingScene.com that former three division world champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley spent a few days in Kermit Cintron's training camp, helping him prepare for Saturday's fight with WBC junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (38-0-1, 28KOs). The HBO televised fight takes place at Monumental Plaza de Toros in Mexico City, Mexico.  Mosley provided Cintron (33-4-1, 28KOs) with some quality sparring at trainer Ronnie Shields' gym in Houston, Texas.

Cintron, according to several sources, looks very impressive in camp and displayed his old "killer instinct" mentality.

"Mosley spent a few days with Kermit and really helped him work on speed. When those two guys sparred, it was a war. Cintron looks great. He looked like the same fighter who blew away Walter Matthysse [in July 2007]," the insider said.
