"Sugar" Shane Mosley is 0-3-1 in his last four fights, but is continued his career nonetheless. He fights Pablo Cesar Cano on Saturday in Cancun, Mexico, and tells BoxingScene he received inspiration from future Hall of Famer James Toney, who is still fighting despite being well past his prime.

"I was on the plane signing autographs with James Toney, he was the IBA and IBU heavyweight champion of the world, and he's like 44," Mosley, 41, told BoxingScene. "He was giving me the pep talk and said 'You retire when you ready, when I'm ready to retire, I'll retire.' I kind of feel the same way. I love the boxing game and I'll know when it's time.

"I fought Canelo (Alvarez), went the distance. The next guy [Josesito Lopez] that fights him is stopped in five. And that guy beat Victor Ortiz. So the guy that stopped Victor Ortiz was stopped in five by Canelo. And I had some pretty good moments, too."
