The weights are in for Wednesday's night of boxing in Moscow, Russia. In the main event of the card, Grigory Drozd (33-1, 23 KOs) takes on former WBA interim champion Richard Hall in a non-title cruiserweight ten-rounder. Earlier today, Drozd outweighed his future opponent by no less than twelve and a half pounds; tipping the scale at 199.5 lbs. Hall was much lighter at 187 lbs.
In another featured bout, Khabib Allakhverdiev (15-0, 6 KOs) will try to pass the toughest test of his career in WBA #9 light welterweight upset specialist Ignacio Mendoza (32-6-2, 21 KOs). Mendoza will arrive in Moscow only in few hours. Khabib was presented at the weigh-in and looked fit at 139.3 lbs. The fight is being penciled for twelve rounds, and WBA Fedelatin belt will reportedly be at stake.
Sergey Rozhnov makes his heavyweight debut against former world title challenger Owen beck (29-9, 21 KOs), who has lost his last six in a row. Rozhnov weighed in at 238; Beck was heavier at 252.5 lbs.
Oleg Liseev, 159, and Mikola Korenev, 152.5, will form the fourth and the last (from the final bell) pair of the show.
