BoxingScene.com has been advised that the International Boxing Federation has ordered South African flyweight champion Moruti Mthalane (28-2, 19KOs) to defend his title against Ricardo Nunez (24-2, 20KOs) of Panama. Nunez won an eliminator in April with a sixth round TKO over Carlos Tamara. Mthalane last defeat came at the hands of Nonito Donaire in November 2008, but he's defeated several good fighters since then - including Johnreil Casimero and Julio Cesar "Pingo" Miranda.

Tyson - Reveco and Mthalane - Nunez both great fights to be ordered by sanctioning bodies! Flyweight is really intriguing division at the moment.
