| Mormeck Plans To Check Wladimir's Chin: He's Fragile!
|
|
By Mel "Sabaka" Ohlhoft Former cruiserweight king Jean Marc Mormeck (36-4, 22KOs) has a lot of respect for WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko. The same can't be said for his younger brother, WBO/IBO/IBF/WBA champion Wladimir Klitschko (56-3, 49KOs). Mormeck is reportedly the frontrunner to face Wladimir on December 10th, with the fight happening in either Germany or France. Mormeck, 39-years-old and inactive since December 2010, admits that he would have to think twice before signing a contract to face Vitali, but he would run at the opportunity to get Wladimir in the ring. "[Wladimir] is fragile, he can't take punches. I would have ask myself a lot of questions before signing [a contract] to face his older brother, but I would throw myself at the first opportunity to step into the ring against [Wladimir]," Mormeck said. So Tarver called Wlad out? that's a good fight considering the options. Tarver is a bigger name than Mormeck and comes close to HW size. He proved against Green he is still elite and at least he presents a small challenge to Wlad with his punching power.
Ustinov is a K2 fighter, they can make t... |

I liked JMM a lot at CW and respected his accomplishments there, but like a lot of former CWs recently his campaign at heavy has been lacklustre and short. Unlike a lot of CWs however, his wins have been unconvincing at best, robberies at worst, and unlike Adamek or Haye he simply doesn't look li... |

[QUOTE=Grinderman]I liked the idea of Wach but got shouted down by some of the experts on here. I still think he's a better choice than Mormeck.
NOBODY is ready to fight either Klitschko. They are the most avoided champions in history. Totally feared by the opposition. Journalists who writ... |

Anybody against the K brothers is a mismatch right now but a short, blown-up cruiserweight like Mormeck shouldn't last more than a few rounds. And Tarver? He might last the distance but no way he makes a dent on either Special K and he hasn't beaten anyone in the division to earn a title shot |
