WBA bantamweight champion Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno (30-1, 10KOs) is waiting for an agreement to be reached for a fight with WBC/WBO champion Nonito Donaire. Moreno was told the bout might happen on May 28 in California. He watched Donaire knock out Fernando Montiel in two rounds to capture the titles on February 19. Moreno was impressed, but there is no fear from the pride of Panama.

Moreno has begun training on speed and fast movements. He believes Donaire will struggle with his speed and defensive skills.

"The fight sounds good to me. I think it will be a great fight, but [Donaire] is going to fall short because it's one thing to fight with Fernando Montiel and another to fight 'Chemito' Moreno. That day, if I get to fight him, the whole world will know 'Chemito' Moreno. We'll see if Nonito Donaire is capable of hitting a ghost," Moreno told George Olmos.
