Morales Re-Inks With Shaw, Eyes Return By Year's End

By Ryan Burton

Gary Shaw has informed BoxingScene.com that Roman "The Pride of San Ardo" Morales has officially resigned with his promotional company. Morales, a super bantamweight who has a record of 18-0, has been featured on various ShoBox and ESPN Friday Night Fights telecasts. The 23-year-old Morales last fought in March when he defeated Khabir Suleymanov via unanimous decision. Shaw said that he hopes to have Morales back in the ring before the end of the year.

every so often in a few MX papers Morales states he still wants a farewell bout, mayb in Tijuana...I hope not, but it would b vs a soft touch...
on thank god it wasn't Erik
My exact thoughts. Erik has retired twice now but I wouldn't be surprised if he attempts another "come back". Jorge Arce has also retired few times and keeps returning and somehow getting title shots.
