Miskirtchian Eyes Gradovich After Rematch Victory

Country Hall, Sart-Tilman in Liege, Belgium - In another close encounter, Alexander Miskirtchian (24-2-1, 9 KOs) of Belgium won a twelve round majority decision over French boxer Sofiane Takoucht (27-3-1, 12 KOs) in an IBF final featherweight eliminator. The scores were 115-113, 117-111, 114-114. The two boxers previously met in September of 2011 in France, where Miskirtchian was able to win a close twelve round split decision with scores of 115-113, 115-114 and the third judge had it for Takoucht with 115-113. Miskirtchian is now the mandatory challenger to IBF champion Evgeny Gradovich.

In 2014 February IBF Featherweight rankings it is now official. Alex Miskirtchian is number one challenger of Gradovich! This will be a very hard fight. Miskirtchian motivation is at the top with coach Abel Sanchez ! Let´s hope Top Rank…
