Mikey Garcia-Roman Martinez Discussions Continue

The fight between champion WBO junior lightweight champion Roman 'Rocky' Martinez (27-1, 16 KO's), and mandatory challenger Miguel Angel "Mikey" Garcia (32-0, 27 KO's), is still being negotiated for a planned date of November 9th in Texas. The two sides are still at odds over the financial split. According to sources in Puerto Rico, Martinez is only being offered about $300,000 for the fight, with Garcia receiving far more. If the fight goes to a purse bid, then Martinez will receive a bigger portion of the money. Negotiations are expected to resume upon completion of the WBO's ongoing convention in Budapest, Hungary.

martinez should just let it go to purse bid, even if he gets less than 300K just to make garcia get even less hahaha
