Mikey Garcia-Billy Dib IBF Title Bout Being Explored

BoxingScene.com was advised that a featherweight clash is being explored between Mikey Garcia (25-0, 21KOs) and Australia's Billy Dib (31-1-1, 19KOs). Early discussions are taking place to match the two fighters, possibly in July, for the vacant IBF featherweight title. The belt became vacant when Yuriorkis Gamboa failed to attend the IBF's secondary weigh-in for his recent fight with Jorge Solis. Garcia is ranked at number 1 and Dib is ranked at number 3, with the number two position being vacant.
