Mike Perez Injured, Withdraws From The Chagaev Fight

By Alexey Sukachev and Inna Lagun (Allboxing.ru)

An intriguing heavyweight crossroads collision between former WBA champion Ruslan Chagaev (30-2-1, 19 KOs) from Uzbekistan and rising Ireland-based Cuban Mike “The Rebel” Perez (18-0, 12 KOs) is now off, according to boxer-promoter Felix Sturm. The fight should have taken its place a week from now, on Dec. 1 in Dusseldorf, Germany.

“Unfortunately, Perez has injured his shoulder”, reported Sturm in his twitter. “It’s a pity as it would have been a great fight”.
