Miguel Vazquez, Marroquin , Han, Williams, Gonzalez Win

Sun Bowl, El Paso, Texas - IBF lightweight champion Miguel Vazquez (31-3, 13KOs) won a dominating ten round unanimous decision over Daniel Attah (26-10-1, 9KOs) in a non-title contest. Super featherweight Casey Ramos (16-0, 5KOs) beat down Arthur Trevino (7-8-4, 4KOs) for five rounds. In the fifth, the referee had seen enough and stopped the fight.

Junior middleweight Abie Han (17-0, 11KOs) stopped Joseph Gomez (18-6-1, 8KOs) in four rounds. Gomez was dropped three times from hard right hands in the third. In the fourth, Gomez went down for a fourth time and his corner threw in the towel.

Alejandro Gonzalez (13-0-2, 8KOs) destroyed Leopoldo Gonzalez (12-7-1, 7KOs) in 44 seconds of the first round. Leopoldo got caught cold in the opening seconds and went down three times before the fight was waved off.
