Miguel Vazquez, Marroquin , Han, Williams, Gonzalez Win

Sun Bowl, El Paso, Texas - IBF lightweight champion Miguel Vazquez (31-3, 13KOs) won a dominating ten round unanimous decision over Daniel Attah (26-10-1, 9KOs) in a non-title contest. Vazquez's was too strong and too active for the veteran Attah, who did his best but couldn't dent Vazquez or stop his rapid pace. All three judges scored it 100-90.

Super featherweight Casey Ramos (16-0, 5KOs) beat down Arthur Trevino (7-8-4, 4KOs) for five rounds. In the fifth, the referee had seen enough and stopped the fight.

Junior middleweight Abie Han (17-0, 11KOs) stopped Joseph Gomez (18-6-1, 8KOs) in four rounds. Gomez was dropped three times from hard right hands in the third. In the fourth, Gomez went down for a fourth time and his corner threw in the towel.

Alejandro Gonzalez (13-0-2, 8KOs) destroyed Leopoldo Gonzalez (12-7-1, 7KOs) in 44 seconds of the first round. Leopoldo got caught cold in the opening seconds and went down three times before the fight was waved off.

Super bantamweight prospect Tramaine Williams (2-0, 2KOs) knocked out Theo Johnson (0-2) in the third round. Williams, a southpaw, started unloading in the opening seconds.
