Miguel Cotto: Nothing About Chavez's Win Impressed Me

In the near future, WBA 154-pound champion Miguel Cotto will have to decide between two options for a potential opponent on December 3 in Las Vegas. Cotto will either have a grudge rematch with Antonio Margarito or move up to middleweight to challenge Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. for a fourth world title. Cotto was ringside last Saturday at Staples Center in Los Angeles, and watched Chavez defeat Sebastian Zbik to win the title. He wasn't impressed.

"We are waiting for the call from [Top Rank] to see what the offers are. We'll see what kind of money is there and then decide. Chavez Jr., fought well, but I saw nothing that impressed me or caught my attention. It would be a great attraction [to face Chavez for a fourth title], but first we have to see the options on the table and we, as a team, wwill make a decision," Cotto told Les Jiminez.

Cotto even admits that he would be taking this fight strictly for the money and not to prove greatness. So why can't his stans admit that too? The only chance I give Chavez is if he can take Cotto's punches…

Sometimes I get on here after coming back from a hard days work just to get riled, maybe get a few laughs from these Pro Chavez dolts. Clearly, some of you people are mad. Chavez JR doesn't need this fight…

Cmon people, you guys have to be kidding?? JCC JR. has nothing on his side,That fight SUCKED ROYALLY!!! What a joke ,was worth humm.. nothing Lets see his ass against some good fighters,,someone that actually throws punches,zbik won the fight…

this is a fight worth watching. I'll pay $100 on ppv for this one but will watch the gayweather commedy on internet. Have anyone her gayweather challenging Cotto. Noooo Way , Cotto will eat his heart his wife an kids.…
