British middleweight Lee Churcher has pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to supply cocaine, though he says that his role in the distribution ring did not involve dealing the drug, according to the South Wales Argus.

Churcher, 31, was one of five men arrested in the case. The fighter told the newspaper that he was a debt collector and money courier for the group.

He is due to return to court on Monday, Nov. 19.

Churcher is listed on BoxRec.com as the British Boxing Board of Control’s Welsh Area middleweight titleholder, a belt he picked up after stopping a 19-9 foe named Barrie Jones this past May.

That was the last time Churcher appeared in the ring. He has fought 14 times since turning pro in 2009, going 10-3-1 with 3 Kos and winning his past four bouts.
