Michele Di Rocco Will Stay Active With Six Rounder
By Per Ake Persson
EBU super lightweight champion Michele Di Rocco is sidelined with the flu and his defence against Alexandre Lepelley on May 17 in Rome is now cancelled. This was a voluntary defence and is now off completely and the EBU is now calling for purse bids for the mandatory defence against Ruben Nieto. The bids will be opened on May 26 at noon in Rome.
Di Rocco will still fight on May 17 but in a non-title six rounder.
Headlining this show is Sergey Rabchenko´s defense of the EBU super welterweight title against Emanuele Della Rosa.
