A trio of young undefeated phenoms were in action in meaningful fights on Saturday night at Terrible?s Primm Valley Casino Resorts in Primm, Nevada. In the main event, WBA #3/WBC #4 super featherweight Yuriokis Gamboa (10-0, 8 KOs), a 2004 Cuban Olympic gold medalist, won a ten round unanimous decision over game veteran Darling Jimenez (23-3-2, 14 KOs) to win the vacant WBC International super featherweight championship former held by Manny Pacquiao.

It wasn\\\'t all Gamboa\\\'s way as he was dropped by a Jimenez right hand in round four, but otherwise Gamboa was impressive as he won by scores of 97-92, 97-92, 98-91. "Gamboa is a complete fighter but tonight I wasn\\\'t happy with his performance," stated ARENA-CEO Ahmet Öner. "He was a little bit too arrogant and gave me a hard time. You must not forget that it was only his tenth pro-fight though. He has got to improve his defense but he will definitely be world champion one day. After all I\\\'m glad that he had to go the distance. That was an important experience for him."

Unbeaten junior middleweight Alfredo Angulo (13-0, 10 KOs) scored an impressive fifth round TKO over #8 IBF contender Richard Gutierrez (24-2, 14 KOs) to claim the vacant WBO Intercontinental title. It was a back and forth war, but Angulo had too much firepower and after a punishing Angulo barrage referee Tony Weeks waved it off at 2:48.

WBA#4/IBF #7/WBC #10 junior middleweight James Kirkland (22-0, 19 KOs) destroyed Eromosele "Bad Boy" Albert (21-2, 10 KOs) in just 66 seconds to claim the vacant NABO junior middleweight title. Albert was down twice.
