Scores were 100-90, 99-91, 98-92. Castillo sustained cuts over the right eye and under both eyes in the bout.

In the co-main, featherweight Houston?s Benjamin Flores (16-3, 4 KOs) pounded out an eight-round unanimous decision over Sal Garcia (14-5-2, 7 KOs). Scores were 77-75 on all cards.
