McJoe Arroyo Gets Tough Test in Jose Lopez on Sept. 27

By Rey Colon

Former WBO super flyweight champion José ‘Carita’ López (39-10-2, 32 KO’s), who's been inactive since getting stopped in five rounds by Leo Santa Cruz in June 2011, will return to the ring to face unbeaten prospect McJoe Arroyo (10-0, 5 KO’s) on the 27th of September at the San Juan Hotel in Puerto Rico. PR Best Boxing Promotions is staging the card.

The 40-year-old Lopez has far more experience. He hopes to turn his career around after losing his last three outings - including decision losses to César ‘Junito’ Seda and Marvin Sonsona, and the KO loss to current IBF bantamweight king Santa Cruz.
