Mayweather's Criminal Case Adjourned Again, To Sept. 1

By Chris LaBate

At this rate, Floyd Mayweather Jr. will not be active in 2011. With two pending criminal cases in the Las Vegas courts, Mayweather has stayed away from boxing and refused to discuss opponents. Mayweather's last fight took place nearly a year ago, and saw him winning a twelve round decision over Shane Mosley.

Mayweather's bench trial over an alleged November incident where a security guard claims the fighter assaulted him, has been kicked over to September 1 in Las Vegas Justice Court. The guard claims Mayweather poked him in the face after a verbal dispute over a parking offense. According to the Las Vegas Sun, the boxer's attorney, Karen Winckler, appeared on his behalf and asked Judge Charles Pane for a continuance.

The case on September 1 is peanuts compared to the more serious case, which is scheduled for a hearing on Thursday in Clark County District Court. In that case, Mayweather faces eight misdemeanor and felony charges stemming from a September incident with his former girlfriend, Josie Harris. She claims Mayweather allegedly beat her, issued threats and stole her cell phone during an argument in front of their three children.
Yeah.... I guess Floyd is learning from Pac.
Actually its Floyd who has been doing it even before Pac came into stardom.

Why doesn't he just schedule a fight on July/August? It's not like he's really mentally distracted by the court cases. He's out clubbing and making lottery soda.

Floyd is a wanksta and he never popped nothing (except for mens butt holes). Floyd is a wanksta and he needs to stop fronting. Floyd ain't no friend of mine, He ain't no kin of mine. What makes you think…

Floyd is finished as a boxer in my opinion. He won't fight this year, and he'll be to rusty to get in there with Pacquiao next year even. Mayweather is already on the decline, so I think Mayweather is pretty…

Floyd Mayweather is irrelevant. Hasn't fought in almost a year, he isn't fighting this year so stop it with the fantasy talk about him spanking this guy or that guy.
