For his upcoming fight, WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (43-0, 26KOs) is going to train under his father, Floyd Mayweather Sr. His regular trainer/uncle, Roger Mayweather is dealing with health issues. Mayweather will defend his title against mandatory challenger Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero on May 4th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayweather told Showtime that his uncle Roger may still be involved in his corner on fight night, and he says we may even see the appearance of uncle/trainer Jeff Mayweather in the corner as well.

"Me and my dad, we are on good terms. Me and my dad are back working together. Both [Roger and my dad will be in my corner]. Roger is going through a lot with his sugar diabetes. Hopefully we can come back together, we can all come together for May 4th. Roger will work with me also. I want our family to stay together and hopefully my uncle Jess can work in the corner as well," Mayweather said.
Guerrero is nothing like Castillo! Castillo then, was big huge Lightweight and it was Floyd's first fight at 135. Castillo was also a pressure fighter, that's not Guerrero. He's a fighter who mauls and punches where he can, no skill involved. Do you really think that Mayweath...
Hatton much better than Guerrero. If Floyd struggles it has zero to do with The Ghost and everything to do with being 36.
Hatton was not better than Guerrero. Hatton was a sumo wrestler, not a boxer. Guerrero is just a bit smaller than Floyd, that΄s his problem. Marti...
No excuses?? Floyd has dealt with pressure before so nothing new with Guerrero attempting this tactic. You said it best when you stated 'early rounds when referring to Hatton. Floyd can adapt and adjust on the fly. Tell me, what happens to Guerrero if this pressure tactic doe...
