Trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. is a big fan of two-time world champion Andre 'S.O.G.' Ward (30-0, 15 KOs).

Ward recently kicked off his training camp in Hayward, CA with trainer Virgil Hunter - as he prepares for the upcoming showdown on November 19 with WBO, WBA and IBF light heavyweight world champion Sergey 'Krusher' Kovalev (30-0-1, 26 KOs).

The HBO Pay-Per-View event will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

There are varied opinions regarding the outcome of the highly anticipated fight. Most believe the winner will become the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. Both fighters are ranked among the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, with WBC super flyweight champion Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez holding the top spot, for now.

Mayweather Sr., the father and trainer of former five division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., is picking Ward to put on a boxing clinic in the ring. He just wishes Ward was more active as a fighter.

The Olympic gold medal winner returned to the ring last June, after dealing with a long legal battle with his former promoter Dan Goossen. It was Ward's first fight since November of 2013. Ward didn't fight again until March of this year, when he made his light heavyweight debut with a win over Sullivan Barrera. He came back in August to win another dominating decision, this time over Alexander Brand. This will be the first time that Ward has fought at least three times in a single year since 2009. Ward fought twice in 2010, twice in 2011, once in 2012, once in 2013, no fights in 2014 and once in 2015.

"Well, guess what? I’m picking Ward. Ward can beat these guys a lot easier than he’s doing, if he would stay in the ring, he would beat these guys even more easier if he could stay in the ring and take care of his business. It aint gonna make a difference anyway, because hes gonna still whoop him. Ward can fight, Ward is good," Mayweather Sr. told On The Ropes Boxing Radio.
