Former five division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (49-0, 26KOs) retired from the sport last September after defeating Andre Berto at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

At the ongoing WBC convention in Florida, Mayweather was presented with several awards from the sanctioning body and he also received several honors from the Guinness Book of World Records.

A lot of fighters are still hoping to get Mayweather back in the ring, but he's not tempted to come back and pursue that 50th victory.

Last May, he was able to secure his most satisfying victory when he defeated career rival Manny Pacquiao. Mayweather is said to have earned $300 million that night - with 4.6 million pay-per-views being sold for that event.

Fighters like Pacquiao, Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, Gennady Golovkin and even UFC superstar Conor McGregor would all like to get Mayweather in the ring. That won't be likely, because the undefeated boxer told reporters at the WBC convention that his health far outweighs the possibility of returning to the ring for another fight.

"I think it's very valuable fact that I left boxing in great condition, and I left boxing on my own terms. I did what I wanted to do and in one night I got a check for 100 million dollars. But you know what, my health is more important," Mayweather said to media members.

"This is a dream come true, the way I handled my career. For many years my name will be inscribed there in the Guinness Book of Records and that is because I was blessed by my talent, but also with having a great team, a great manager like Al Haymon. I'm also proud of my security team that always helped me stay focused on my training."
