Apollo Theater, New York City - WBC Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26KOs) made one thing clear when the subject of Manny Pacquiao came up - the Filipino superstar will never receive a 50-50 split of the revenue. Mayweather offered Pacquiao a $40 million dollar guarantee to face him on May 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Pacquiao countered back, and requested an even 50-50 split of the revenue.

Mayweather rejected Pacquiao's counter and finalized a deal to face WBA 154-pound champion Miguel Cotto on the same May date. If they negotiate again, Mayweather will never agree to a 50-50 split - and he doesn't limit that position to only Pacquiao.

"[Pacquiao] is not one of the sharpest knives in the drawer. He faces Floyd Mayweather, he's not getting 50-50. Not at all. No one is getting 50-50," Mayweather said.

[QUOTE=jcpryor]Whatever, man. The fact that you think Bob Arum said "Lets forget about a May 5th fight", but then sent Konz to negotiate the fight since nothing else was working is hilarious to me. I understand that you'll basically believe anything that comes out of Pacquiao's camps mouth, thoug...

[QUOTE=shogunn]Really? Does this have to be explained? Normally Arum negotiates Mannys fights. But after 2 years of nothing getting done, he sends Koncz, which everyone knows is Manny's personal lackey. He even calls Floyd personally. Now, I dont see how Manny sending Koncz is a ploy, a fac...

[QUOTE=jcpryor]It absolutely was a ploy. The fact that you couldn't name another time that Konz has negotiated on Pacquiao's behalf should tell you everything you need to know. You're kidding yourself if you think Bob Arum isn't going to be involved in negotiations for a fight of this magnitude. ...
