Floyd Mayweather Jr. continues to be asked about a potential fight with mixed martial arts superstar Conor McGregor. Of course, Mayweather helps fan the flames by expressing interest in that bout happening.

“I’m a businessman, when it’s all said and done,” Mayweather said in a televised interview with Showtime’s Jim Gray. “That’s all about entertainment right there. That’s something the people want to see. I know we can do some crazy numbers if we can make that fight happen.”

Speaking of numbers, Mayweather claimed he offered Conor McGregor a sum of $15 million. Dana White, the president of UFC, says that wasn’t true, and that he was offering each fighter $25 million apiece, plus a split of the pay-per-view revenue. Mayweather said his minimum is $100 million.

“Money” Mayweather tackled the money issue again while chatting with Gray.

“The best thing to do is to look up how much money Conor McGregor has made, then look up how much money Floyd Mayweather has made, and then we can make the fight happen.”

He’s otherwise done with boxing, though — Mayweather hasn’t fought since hanging up his gloves after beating Manny Pacquiao and then Andre Berto in 2015. There were no other boxing matches for which Mayweather said he would be willing to return.

“If it’s Conor McGregor, it makes sense to me,” Mayweather said. “If it’s anybody else, it don’t make sense, not to me.”
