Floyd Mayweather Jr. (50-0, 27 KOs) is disputing the recent statements that were made by UFC President Dana White, who claimed on Wednesday that his company was in negotiations with the retired boxer to bring him over to the UFC.

"We're talking to Floyd about doing a UFC deal," White told ESPN. "It's real. He was talking about [boxing] Conor McGregor. Was that real? Have you heard Floyd talk about many things that aren't real? He usually tips his hand when he's in the media and then that s--- ends up happening.

"We're interested in doing something with Floyd. Everything is a realistic possibility. Mayweather vs. McGregor f---ing happened. Anything is possible."

Mayweather has now come out and disputed White's version of the story.

While he admits the UFC did approach not long ago, and he could make a fortune by agreeing to a multi-fight deal with them, he as zero interest in going in that direction.

"That's not what I said....exactly what I said is this, if I made over a billion dollars before, I could do it again. If I chose to get in the UFC and fight 3 fights or fight 4 fights and then fight Conor McGregor, I could make a billion dollars, which I can. We just don't know what the future holds for Floyd Mayweather. I'm just saying I could; I'm not doing it, but I'm saying what I could do to make a billion dollars quick. I never said I was going to fight in the UFC - would and could do is different things. I'm not going to do it though," said Mayweather to Fighthype.com.

Mayweather, coming back from a two year retirement, picked up a tenth round TKO over UFC superstar Conor McGregor in August to improve his perfect record to 50-0. Despite the hype surrounding the anticipated fight, Mayweather assured everyone that his recent win would be the final one of his career.
