Former two division king Ricardo Mayorga (29-8-1, 23KOs) tells BoxingScene.com that he expects a title shot in early 2012, against IBF junior middleweight champion Cornelius Bundrage (31-4, 18KOs). Mayorga says the fight is going to take place in his native Nicaragua.
"I expect to fight Bundrage for the title in Nicaragua in the new year. My promoter Don King has promised to get me ranked and to get me a shot at Bundrage. He doesn't lie to me about fights and their dates. I expect for this fight to happen," Mayorga said.
