On August 29th there will be dueling card in the Los Angeles, Calif. area. At The Forum in Los California, Shane Mosley and Ricardo Mayorga will collide in a pay-per-view rematch while at the Staples Center, Abner Mares and Leo Santa Cruz will battle in an ESPN televised main event.
BoxingScene.com recently caught up with Mayorga and asked him why he feels that people should watch his fight against Mosley instead of the rival card.
"Because people want to see warriors in the ring. They want to see blood. That's why," Mayorga told BoxingScene.com. "Boxers with styles like Floyd Mayweather run around like f*ggots from corner to corner in the ring. If the ring was bigger - Mayweather would run more and even go outside of the ring if he could. In boxing it is supposed to be a fight where we stop and exchange punches. I think that Mosley and I are warriors and if people want to see more action then they will watch our fight."
