"El Matador" Ricardo Mayorga (29-7, 23KOs) is predicting a big win by knockout on March 12, when he challenges WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto (35-2, 28KOs) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayorga says he is going to knock Cotto out in the early rounds and then make him a member of Ricky Martin's band. Mayorga has no intention of letting the fight go the distance. He wants to get an early knockout so he can back his demand for a fight with Manny Pacquiao.

"If I managed to win by decision, it would be a shame because I would not be worthy to deserve a fight against Pacquiao. I will show that I can knock out Cotto in four rounds. I'm going to send him to the band of Ricky Martin, which is where he deserves to be," Mayorga said.

Mayorga is going to push the fight early. He wants to get to Cotto before the Puerto Rican boxer starts moving. To Mayorga it doesn't matter. He plans to chase after Cotto.

"Cotto will put on a pair of turbo-charged skates and will start running after he feels my punch. I will have to chase him down to knock him out," Mayorga said.
