LOS ANGELES --- Lucas Matthysse looked like a Swami when he picked Marcos Maidana to knock off previously-unbeaten Adrien Broner in December.

The victory landed Maidana a mega-fight against Floyd Mayweather on May 3 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Showtime PPV.

So who is Matthysse, who faces John Molina on Saturday at StubHub Center in Carson on Showtime, picking to win Mayweather vs. Maidana?

"You know, obviously, it's a tougher fight," Matthysse said at Wednesday's open workout at Westside Boxing Club. "Mayweather is No. 1 pound-for-pound and one of the best fighters in the world, if not the best. But Maidana is very strong. He can punch with both hands. Hopefully, he can land one of those big punches and change boxing history."

It wasn't a definitive prediction like for the Broner fight, but it's clear Matthysse is pulling for Maidana.
black's got nothin' to do with it
He's right in a sense. You see the fab five documentary. These guys were getting so much racial hate, just because they were black. Do you think they wouldve gotten the hate if they were white?
